Mandi has been a guiding force, helping steer us through both opportunities and challenges with wisdom, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to Scouts. Personally, I am incredibly grateful for her support, especially as I navigated my own role over the last couple of years. We will, of course, take the time to celebrate her contributions properly in the months to come.
But now, it’s time to look ahead.
The Search for Our Next County Chair Begins
With Mandi’s departure on the horizon, we are beginning the search for a new Chair of The Board- someone with vision, passion, and a drive to make a meaningful impact. This is an incredible opportunity for a leader who wants to help shape the future of our work, inspire our teams, and strengthen our connections within the community.
We will be launching an open nomination process, inviting both recommendations and self-nominations. From there, we’ll hold an interview process to ensure we find the right person to continue the legacy of strong leadership. We’ll also be engaging with local businesses and organisations to explore potential candidates who align with our values and ambitions.
The chosen candidate will be formally proposed for a three-year term at our next AGM.
