Mental wellbeing refers to an overall sense of emotional and psychological wellness, which can encompass a range of factors such as positive emotions, self-esteem, resilience, social connections, and healthy coping mechanisms.

As part of the fundamentals of Scouting we seek to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for our young people and adults. We aim to develop not only the physical wellbeing of our members, but also their emotional wellbeing.

To support these aims a core team of volunteers has been established and we would welcome the opportunity to meet with as many of you as possible in order to share our initial plans and listen to your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.

There are three upcoming opportunities to meet the team; on the 15th, 16th and 17th May. On the 15th there will be an informal Campfire & Conversation at 7pm just behind Little Bowley, please come along, listen to our plans and share your thoughts – no need to book for this one. The sessions on the 16th and 17th are the same so you only need to attend one. You can book online here. These sessions take place in The Den at Bowley from 7pm.

In the meantime, if you wish to contact the team you can do so via wellbeingawareness@eastlancashirescouts.org.uk
