I have been living out of the area for some time now and whilst I have managed to attend most meetings remotely, I have found being unable to physically enjoy Scouting in East Lancashire increasingly frustrating, it just isn’t the same if you can’t get around the events, districts, and groups. As a result, I have decided to step down from my role at this year’s AGM. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of the last five years and know that I leave you with an amazing County team to continue supporting you as you provide brilliant Scouting for our young people.
