As we’re moving towards being able to meet face-to-face once again, we’re excited to see what future activities you get up to and doubtless, this will include expeditions and top awards.
We have some new free online DofE training for anyone wanting a Scouts led introduction to DofE or as a Supervisor or Assessor so you can be ready to go with Awards this summer. Feel free to share it with whoever you think would benefit, including volunteers outside of Scouting.
We’re in the last two weeks of the Resilience Fund which is still offering free participant places for DofE. Participant places are for all levels and anyone can apply whether they’ve been involved with DofE before or not. There is a revised closing date of 23rd March 2021 and you can apply here. Please contact John Davey or Tom Doyle if you’re applying for participant places so that we have the up-to-date information ahead of DofE sending the place. For more information and eligibility, see the Scouts website.
Keep up the truly inspiring work on keeping your young people and fellow volunteers engaged in Scouting activities online.
Thank you.
