Not sure what you need to do to complete your training? Please contact Joanne via training@eastlancashirescouts.org.uk

The impact of COVID19 is being felt around the world and we find ourselves in a very different place with face-to-face meetings suspended for the foreseeable future. We are seeing some truly amazing volunteers who are continuing to provide quality Scouting programmes through the use of technology such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams (don’t forget to share some of those awesome examples with us too on social media @EastLancsScout) and naturally we want to continue to ensure that you have the tools and skills you need to deliver such programmes.

Today we want to make you are of the online training materials that you can do from home – everything from mandatory Safeguarding training to Leadership & Management Training. You can find lots of learners’ resources here and using the links below which we have split down into mandatory training for all volunteers in Scouting (with the exception of occasional helpers), getting started training for new leaders, wood badge training modules and manager and supporter training. If you aren’t sure which of these you need to do then please contact your Local Training Manager or Training Advisor, if you have one.

Mandatory Training – for all roles in Scouting (except occasional helpers)

Getting Started – for all roles in Scouting (except occasional helpers)

Woodbadge Modules – for all Section Leader, Sectional Assistant and Manager Woodbadges.

Manager & Support Training – For GSLs, ADCs, ACCs etc.

If you do complete any of the modules above, please contact your Local Training Manager or Training Advisor so that they can validate the training against your Personal Learning Plan. All mandatory modules have a certificate to either print or screenshot as proof of completion.
