Alicia, our County Youth Commissioner is stepping down!
I want to say a big thank you to Alicia Carling for everything she has achieved in her tenure as County Youth Commissioner. Over lockdown and the pandemic, she worked hard to complete her degree whilst managing the time she had available to commit to Scouting. Having graduated and started a new career, Alicia has decided to leave her Youth Commissioner role as she cannot commit the time she feels is needed for the role. Good luck in your career, Alicia.
Owen, our Deputy County Youth Commissioner is also leaving his role having taken up a challenging new career which has reduced the time he can dedicate to Scouting. Thank you, Owen, for all that you have done in your time as DCYC and good luck with your career.
The search is now on to find our next County Youth Commissioner. You can find the details here, and nominations close on Sunday 27th March 2022.
