The Bowley Bucket 2010 - Explorer Challenge October 8th - 10th

Teams from Blackburn and Burnley fought for the right to take the Bowley Bucket back to their Unit. This years event started at Edisford Bridge in Clitheroe. Teams set off for their overnight stop whilst being hunted by the Leader team, those caught losing points each time they were caught. Saturday saw team challenges followed by a giant 'treasure hunt'. The final day saw the team woken at 5am with the teams once again being chased by the Leader team whilst they made their way back to the final destination, Bowley Campsite.

All the teams managed to complete the event which is a great achievement. Well done to all those who took part. In the end the 'Bowley Bucket' was won by Blackburn West Explorer Scout Unit. Well done to Sam, Sean and Andy.

Next year, we hope we will get teams entering from all the Districts in the County, as well as teams from out of County. Book the dates next year into your diary ... 8th - 10th October
